Last June, the “ANQUE-ICCE-CIBIQ 2019. 3rd International Congress of Chemical Engineering” took place. It was organized by the University of Cantabria, the National Association of Chemists and Chemical Engineers of Spain (ANQUE), the Association of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Cantabria (AQUIQÁN) and the department of chemical and bimolecular engineering (CB) in Santander.
LIFE EMPORE, represented by the University Institute of Water and Environmental Sciences of the University of Alicante, was present as a collaborator and speaker at the hands of the researcher María de los Ángeles Bernal Romero del Hombre Bueno, who took part in the aforementioned event with the presentation, entitled “Results of Project LIFE15EMPORE. Development of an efficient and sustainable methodology for EMerging POllutants REmoval in WWTPs.”
The convention presented the technologies used in the EMPORE Project and results of the elimination of micro contaminants obtained in the demonstration period from July 2018 to February 2019. The congress, reference in the field of chemical engineering and chemistry applied to industry, allowed the Exchange of knowledge between professionals, researchers and students.
