LIFE EMPORE presentation on the Working Day called “Antimicrobial Resistance in Animal Production”

On September 13th, Laboratorios Tecnológicos de Levante (LTL) organized and received the working day “Antimicrobial Resistance in Animal Production: Actual problems and trends”. On this meeting, Eduardo Gimeno, technical director of LTL, was focused the attention on the presence of antibiotics and other emergent contaminants in treated water, calling his presentation “Development of an efficient and sustainable methodology to eliminate emergent contaminants in effluents of urban wasted water treatment plants (EMPORE)”.

EMPORE (ref. LIFE15 ENV/ES/000598) is co-financied by LIFE+2015 Call, The LIFE Programme is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action. The project is due to last 36 months, with a total budget of 1.783.824€.
