2nd Water JPI Conference. Emerging Pollutants in freshwater ecosystems.

The Academy of Finland organised the 2nd Water JPI Conference in Helsinki on the last 6th and 7th of June 2018. The aim of this conference was to attract experts in emerging pollutants to meet and discuss common challenges and share their recent discoveries and knowledge. The conference was targeted at both researchers and end-users, especially policy-makers.

The LIFE-EMPORE project contributed to this meeting with an oral communication entitled “Development of an efficient and sustainable methodology for Emerging Pollutants Removal in Waste Water Treatment Plants”, where the goals of the project, in addition to the results obtained up to these days were exposed.

The consortium members assisting to the meeting were The University of Alicante and LTL.
