AIDIMME introduces LIFE-EMPORE Project at the Technical Workshop “Nitrogen and Phosphorous removal in wastewater”

Last June the 28th took place in Cordoba city the Technical Workshop “Nitrogen and Phosphorous removal in wastewater” organized by the company  Aguas de Córdoba (Emproacsa) in collaboration with Biomasa Peninsular S.A, coinciding with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the LIFE Programme.

At the event, AIDIMME introduced the LIFE15-EMPORE (LIFE15 ENV/ES/000598) project, which aims at developing a methodology for the removal of emerging pollutants from the effluents of the European WWTPs.

Finally, an interesting debate took place, where diverse issues related to nutrients removal and future prospects were addressed.

In addition to AIDIMME, the other Associated Beneficiaries are the Public Entity of Sanitation Waste Waters of the Valencian Community (EPSAR), CONSOMAR S.A., the Alicante University, and the Institute for Water Education (UNESCO-IHE) and Laboratorios Tecnológicos de Levante, S.L. (Coordinating Beneficiary).
